You shouldn’t feel stupid asking: HOW DO I CONNECT TO OTHERSPACE?!

This technology is decades old. OtherSpace MUSH lives on a server to which you can connect via telnet. Back in the 1990s and early 2000s, we had a couple of popular client programs available for PC, including SimpleMU and MUSHClient.

After you connect to the MUSH, you’ll see a screen with options for creating a character or connecting to an existing character.
