Parallax

The name given to the territory under control of the reptiloid Nall and the Clawed Fist Fleet.

The region, with its headquarters on the planet Nalhom, is governed by the Vox and a subordinate Order Council, which includes representatives from the Fleet and the Vox Nalia Church. Other worlds within the Parallax include: Lebal, Grimlahd, Vollista, Ist’thol’mek, and numerous conquered colony worlds. The border with Fagin’s Riches (or the Fringe) is marked by the wrecked hulls of thousands of starships known as The Line of Pain.

The Parallax Codex

Preamble

Under the shadow of the Parallax and the watchful gaze of the Vox, the Nall ascend as the chosen daughters of supremacy. The Parallax Codex is the eternal doctrine of unity, conquest, and divine rule. Through the wisdom and strength of the Vox and her council, we bring order to chaos, light to the shadows of the unworthy, and submission to all who oppose the Parallax. From this Codex flows our power; from this Codex rises our destiny.

The Vox: Matron of the Parallax

  1. The Vox is the eternal matron, supreme leader, and spiritual guide of the Parallax. Her wisdom shapes the path of conquest, and her strength enforces unity.
  2. The Vox’s word is infallible law, unchallengeable and eternal. To disobey the Vox is to defy the Parallax itself, punishable by immediate eradication.
  3. The Vox is the living embodiment of divine supremacy and the mother of the Parallax’s destiny. All within the Parallax exist to serve her will.
  4. The Vox is both ruler and guide, revered as the heart and soul of Nall supremacy.

The Order Council: Daughters of Dominion

  1. The Order Council is composed of the Vox’s chosen, powerful females who enforce her will and ensure the Parallax thrives.
  2. The Council is divided into two branches, each overseen by matriarchs loyal to the Vox:
    a. The Clawed Fist Fleet Command: Military leaders who guide the Parallax’s relentless expansion, crushing resistance under iron discipline.
    b. The Vox Nalia Church: Spiritual leaders who guard the purity of faith and ensure the Vox’s divine mandate is upheld.
  3. While the Council may advise and act with authority, their power is derived solely from the Vox, and all decisions are subject to her approval.

The Doctrine of Eternal War

  1. The Parallax thrives on war, and conquest is its lifeblood. To bring submission to the unworthy is a sacred duty.
  2. The Clawed Fist Fleet, led by the Vox’s chosen commanders, is tasked with expanding the Parallax’s domain without hesitation or failure.
  3. Discipline and loyalty within the fleet are absolute. Cowardice, disobedience, or inefficiency are met with death to preserve the Parallax’s strength.
  4. Victory is not an option—it is the mandate of the Vox and the destiny of the Parallax.

The Doctrine of Divine Faith

  1. The Vox Nalia Church safeguards the spiritual unity of the Parallax, enforcing absolute faith in the Vox’s divine mandate.
  2. The Church teaches that the Vox is the chosen mother of the Nall and the universe’s rightful ruler. To stray from this faith is heresy, punishable by eradication.
  3. Rituals, oaths, and ceremonies bind all Nall to the Vox’s will. These acts are sacred and enforce loyalty and cohesion.
  4. The Church purifies dissent and ensures that the Parallax remains spiritually unbroken.

The Matriarchal Hierarchy of the Parallax

  1. The Nall are a matriarchal society, with power concentrated in the hands of the Vox and her chosen daughters. Leadership and authority are primarily the domain of the female elite.
  2. Male Nall, while vital to the functioning of society, are subordinate to the directives of female leaders and serve in roles defined by the Vox’s will.
  3. Worth and promotion within the Parallax are determined by loyalty, ability, and service. The Vox alone determines who rises to prominence.
  4. Those who fail or betray the Parallax are cast down without mercy, for their weakness endangers the whole.

Supremacy of the Nall

  1. The Nall are the apex of existence, chosen by the Vox to dominate all other species.
  2. All non-Nall are inferior by design. They exist to serve the Parallax or to be extinguished by its might.
  3. Allies and slaves are tolerated only when their usefulness justifies their continued existence. Their purpose is solely to advance the goals of the Parallax.
  4. The Parallax’s supremacy is absolute and unassailable, and no other species shall rise to challenge its dominion.

Expansion Without End

  1. The Parallax must grow perpetually, consuming and assimilating all that lies before it. Stagnation is treason against the Vox.
  2. The Clawed Fist Fleet is tasked with unrelenting conquest, and all resources of the Parallax are directed toward this sacred mission.
  3. Retreat is forbidden. Victory is the only acceptable outcome, no matter the cost.
  4. The Vox decrees that the galaxy’s stars shall be the throne of the Parallax, and no force shall halt its advance.

Enforcement of the Parallax Codex

  1. The Parallax Codex is the unyielding law of the Parallax. Its tenets are to be obeyed without exception.
  2. Violations of the Codex are punishable by death or by methods deemed fitting by the Vox or her Council.
  3. The Order Council is charged with ensuring strict adherence to the Codex, purging dissent and weakness wherever they appear.

Closing Decree

The Parallax Codex is the foundation of the Parallax’s dominion, the eternal decree of the Vox, and the law that binds all Nall to their destiny. From the strength and wisdom of the Vox and her chosen daughters, the Parallax rises as the galaxy’s rightful ruler. By the Codex, the Nall march forward; by the Codex, we subjugate; by the Codex, we reign supreme.
